While our Clearing agents are making necessary inquiries here, we shall much appreciate if your forwarding agents could check up the matter with the shipping company there, as according to the bill of lading 10 cases have been loaded.

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of 8th September and are sorry to learn that you received 6 cases instead of 8. In the meanwhile, we have been informed by our forwarding agents that although the bill of lading was issued for 8 cases, through an oversight only eight cases were shipped. The mistake was detected only after the ship had sailed.

Two cases have already been dispatched on Mr. Adam which sailed from here on 28th August and will arrive there on 28th September.

We regret very much for the inconvenience caused.

Dear Sir,

Going through the statement of account we have received from you yesterday, we find that our account has been debited with $ 30 as half yearly bank charges. As far as we know and the same is evident from the statement of account which you have sent us, our balance has never fallen below the minimum limit prescribed by you on any day during the last six months apart from its having been maintained regularly.
